Membership Information
The Eastern Maine Orchid Society is organized to foster among it's members, the love and appreciation of growing orchids.
We are committed to educating the public about the many species and hybrids of orchids and the joy of growing them.
Joining is easy. Dues are $15.00 per year (due in September).
Benefits include:
- 9 monthly meetings per year to exchange ideas and information with other orchid enthusiasts and area experts.
- Get dirty with periodic hands-on workshops.
- Discounts at participating merchants.
- Discounts at Society plant sales.
- Company and support in pursuing a rewarding hobby!
Current Projects:
- Orchid plant sales to raise money for club activities.
- A book grant for a junior horticulture student at the University of Maine, Orono.
- "Orchids" magazine subscription for the Bangor Public Library.
- Assisting with the orchid collection at the University of Maine, Orono.
